Coquette Retro Cuban Heel Back-Seam Stockings

Feel really good quality, look amazing. I'm really pleased with the product as I've ordered stockings elsewhere before and they have laddered the first time I put them on. These feel like they will last,they are also a good fit which I've struggled with in the past as I'm only small.

I love stockings - they can elevate even the simplest outfit from plain to outrageously sexy. These stockings are absolute favourites! The black and red looks lovely against my pale skin and though they're a little long (most stockings are when you're 5ft1) they look great on. They're quite unusual and their quirkiness suits my personal style perfectly. The stockings very well made and wash well, even though they look and feel special they don't require any special care.

I'm going to caveat this review by saying I'm a larger size 14, and slightly taller than average. These were never going to be generous on me! Sadly, at the time of buying (and writing), there were no plus size cuban heels with quite so bold a black seam as these available on the site, so I took the risk with the Coquette stockings. And they did fit, just. There is enough stretch that they rest on my thicker legs towards the lower mid-thigh, though there is some rolling. Good quality suspender clips and some body tape do help remedy this, but at the end of the day, these are probably better suited to someone in the middle of the 8-14 size range. What I was impressed with, was the quality. These feel as though they are a more substantial denier than most nude hosiery, making them less likely to ladder. They even withstood the clawing of the local neighbourhood cat, whose favourite game is ruining everybody's tights. The Cuban heels and tops are reinforced too, and more than thick enough to withstand toenails and suspender clips. On quality alone, they would make the perfect everyday stockings for those of us who like to add some authentic-looking hosiery to their outfits! However, I won't be wearing these much, sadly, because of the sizing issue. But having said that, I was wearing them the night I first got lucky with my new partner, so they definitely tick the sexy, seductive box. I know he loved the touch of retro glamour they added! If you are a shorter size 14 or below, these will look fab on you. In the meantime, I'll hope and pray Lovehoney add larger versions of these. I would buy them in bulk in a heartbeat! For now, I will try some of the other options available.
