The size and quality of the material are perfect for giving a good precise whack without being too intimidating for a partner, it's great for beginners or intermediate alike, the level of sting is up to you!

It was the first time in a long time that I had used a paddle and both I and the sub I used it and enjoyed it thoroughly.

I've taken the string off the handle as it got in the way for me.
